looking for the pod…
looking for the pod…
somebody drew a tiny narwhal and it somehow showed up here. this is the notebook keeping track of it, and of everyone who wants one.
the plates
each one was sketched from memory, which is why none of them match.
found it napping on the margin.
kept swimming toward the arc.
no idea where it's going.
the whole point, really.
knows it's the drawing.
watching you watch it.
observations
a few pages from the middle of the notebook, in no particular order.
six drawn so far. none of them are alike, because none of them were traced.
pen on paper, then scanned, then redrawn four times each so the lines move.
the arc network. it's an evm layer-1 with usdc as its native currency, which the narwhal does not understand and does not need to.
observed only. no minting, no claim, no transaction. this notebook is not a store.
habitat
arc is an evm layer-1. the narwhal lives there because the water is cheap and the lines are steady.
network
Arc
chain id 5042
native currency
USDC
it pays for gas. the narwhal has never paid for anything.
explorer
explorer.arc.io
where you'd go to look at a wallet that isn't yours.
minting
not live
when it is, it will be announced somewhere louder than here.
the pod
two steps. your address, then your x account. no wallet to connect, nothing to sign, nothing to pay.
the form is on the next page.
we moved it out of the notebook so it has room to breathe. paste an address, leave an x account, and the spot is yours. no extension, no popup, no gas.
Join whitelistthe obvious questions
short answers, because the questions are short.
no. minting is not live, and nothing on this page will ask you to pay for anything. when that changes, it will be announced somewhere louder than a field journal.
that's the whole notebook. thanks for reading to the last page.
